Your promo codes and tracking link

You have two ways to get a client attributed to you: your tracking link and your promo codes. Both appear in your Partner hub once you're approved. Either way, you earn the same 25% commission for 12 months — codes just give the client a discount as well.

Your tracking link

Your tracking link looks like:

https://thegaige.com/sign-up?partner=your-slug

Anyone who signs up through it is attributed to you automatically at checkout — they don't need to enter anything. Use the tracking link when price isn't an objection and you want to claim the full commission with no discount applied.

Your promo codes

You get a selection of codes at different discount levels, each giving the client a discount on their first 3 months of a monthly subscription. Your exact codes and their discount levels are listed in your Partner hub and in your approval email.

As a rule of thumb: use a lighter discount as your default sweetener, a middle one as a standard opener for fence-sitters, and your deepest only for bigger deals or harder sells. You earn commission either way, calculated on what the client actually pays.

(Your codes use your partner slug, so they're unique to you.)

The client enters the code in the "Have a promo code?" field on the Manage Plan page when they subscribe. When a partner code is redeemed, the client is attributed to you.

Your codes apply to monthly plans. If a client wants annual, they take our public launch offer instead (currently 20% off the first year), and you still earn your commission through your tracking link. A good play: start the client on monthly with your code so they can try it with low risk, then move them to annual once they're happy. The launch offer carries the saving on the switch, and you keep earning either way.

Your commission is calculated on the discounted revenue. If a client pays 20% less for their first 3 months, your commission on those months is 25% of what they actually paid, then steps up when the discount ends.

How attribution works

  • Attribution happens once per client organisation, at the point they're first linked to a partner. After that, the attribution doesn't change.
  • If a client both came through your tracking link and redeemed one of your codes, the tracking link wins as the recorded source — the result for you is the same.
  • Each attribution opens a 12-month commission window from the attribution date. See How commissions are calculated and paid.

Seeing who you've referred

The Your clients section of the Partner hub lists every attributed client, which code they used (if any), your live monthly commission for each, and how far through setup they are. We also email you when a new client signs up with your code or link.
