How commissions are calculated and paid
The short version: 25% of each attributed client's net recurring subscription revenue, for 12 months, paid monthly in AUD once your balance clears A$50. Here's the detail.
The commission rate
For every client attributed to you, you earn 25% of their net recurring subscription revenue — what they actually pay after any discounts (including your own promo codes).
- Monthly subscriptions: 25% of the monthly amount.
- Annual subscriptions: the annual amount is normalised to a monthly figure (divided by 12), and you earn 25% of that each month.
Commission is computed live from the client's actual subscription, so plan changes, upgrades and cancellations flow through automatically. A client on a free trial who hasn't subscribed yet earns nothing — commission starts when real revenue does.
The 12-month window
Each client earns you commission for 12 months from their attribution date — the day they were first linked to you via your tracking link or a promo code. After the window closes, the client stays visible in your Partner hub history, but no further commission accrues for them.
Monthly statements
We generate statements monthly. Each statement covers a period and lists, per client: their plan, the revenue we calculated commission on, and your commission. You receive the statement by email, and every statement also appears in the Statements section of your Partner hub.
The A$50 minimum and carry-forward
Payouts are in AUD, with a minimum of A$50 per statement period:
- If your total for the period (commission plus anything carried forward) is A$50 or more, the full amount becomes payable.
- If it's under A$50, nothing is paid that period — the whole balance carries forward and is added to your next statement. Nothing is lost; it just accumulates until it clears the minimum.
Getting paid
We pay by bank transfer to the account in your payout details. Each statement starts as a draft; when we make the transfer, it's marked paid with the transfer reference, and we email you a confirmation.
We can't transfer anything until your payout details are on file — statements still generate (the commission is owed regardless), but payment waits until we have somewhere to send it. See Adding your payout details.
If you're an Australian partner, we also ask whether you're registered for GST when you add your payout details — we need this to know whether your commission invoices include GST.
Where to see all this
The Partner hub shows your live monthly commission per client (Your clients), a commission reference table, and your statement history with carried-forward balances (Statements).
